Christmas Eve

In the Now.
Here. And how.
Focus fallow.
Purple mallow.

Green vine searching.
Gold finch perching.
Tiny creature.
Water feature.

Cozy nature
Nomenclature.
Latin botanicals
Good with my animals.

Mouse and Panzo.
Tutti a pranzo!
We’ll drink to wonder
And living’s thunder.

Today we have it.
Tomorrow’s rabbit
Hole we’ll follow.
Deep, dark winding

Halls are hollow.
Walk with open
Mind fires stoking.
What's worth keeping,

Light that’s leaping
And landing on this
Heart shaped lapis,
Plump and porous,

Bleeding casually,
But conducts a chorus
Of happy screaming.
Aiming for us

With headlights beaming.
This night to feel
Something real,
The world’s reveal.
