Take the wheel.
Let's make a deal. Not that old trick, But something slick, Like bait and switch. Ding dong's in a ditch. Now you see him, Now you don’t. Holy smokes, you got me Where you want me. So flip the script. The scale's now tipped. Cozy in the sheets, Now lonely in the streets And gasping why. Spy with my little eye The truth hangs loose Like a bloody tooth. So say your sooth, Then shut your mouth. I took a chance. I learned to dance. I had my day. It’s pay to play. Balls don’t last forever. Twinkling your light. Waltzing through pleasure For just one night In shining armour Was just a farmer, With cows to milk And pigs to slop. His sword, a prop. And you're a tractor, A missed carriage. It's lord an actor. Who felt like dancing And silk tight prancing For the sake of a crowd. So now don’t frown. You just fit the gown And hopeful garter. As times get harder Learn not to linger Or point your triggered finger. Though still be sad That you were had In a coup by a Cad. 9/24/20
