Did I stutter?
Did I curse?
Did I attempt to
Lift your purse?

Mild mannered,
Quiet mouse,
Selling vacuous
House to house.

All your thumbs
Still keep me down.
Tonight, I'll take it
On the town.

A special gift,
The use of strength.
It will impress,
But at what length?

Out of ordinary,
I will reside.
Your dull attention,
Won't break my stride.

Once it's gone,
You will recede.
To tend another
Carcass feed.

And yet another
Trick awaits
To buff the shine
On pearly gates.

But in the end,
It's all the same.
Another bored,
Indifferent game.
