Lights go up. Pan around.
Searching through their perfect town.
People staring. “What’s with him?”
“He’s looking flushed. Expression’s grim”

Life was one thing, now it’s two.
What you thought, we never knew.
You look the part. You dress the same
Who’s made up this guessing game?

Life seems better, when there’s a plot.
Instead of living, while you’re not.
Let's try to figure and sort it out.
No stone unturned, or lingered doubt.

As who you’re cast, you’d rather be.
Nice and easy, flying free.
Up and onward, through the mist.
