Deep attraction
Satisfaction Liquefaction Slippery action Wandering lonely, One and one, only. Weeping discretely, Nice and right, neatly. Day to day In tuneful disarray. Achey dismay. Tendering filet, Covered in crumbs, Floury, numb. Internal hum Pitted aplomb. Don’t look at me And see misery. Rather a tree, Breathing the sea. Wide open palms Grasping for alms From those that would give, Confused how I live. I somehow get by. A wandering eye, A soft, tempered sigh, And always with why On my ventricle lips. Yet, still these backflips To dazzle the city. A dreary, lifeless pity. 12/7/21
