And lowered the bar.
Cornball's the word
For laurels, absurd.

An hour and more,
With nothing in store.
Fresh out of ideas.
No Ave Marias.

I don't understand.
Maybe that was the plan,
Cutesy and cheeky.
That bucket got leaky.

Come down off it, Rod.
This season was odd,
Bloated and banal.
I'm changing the channel.

It did have a chance,
But down came its' pants.
All for a laugh.
I'd fire the staff.

Oh wait, that was you
All over my shoe.
One season to go.
Hope better's in tow.

So great up till now.
I don't understand how
This misstep survived
To keep the light alive.
