Up and away.
Most friends don’t stay. To other seasons And various reasons, We all move on. There’s nothing wrong, Though leaves a stain. Blot it out with Gain. Not even rain lets go. I don’t know. Who’s to say? Just go your way And they’ll go theirs. It hurts to care. So clear the air And see you’re soaring, Reborn and roaring, resilient. See how brilliant? Just for an instant. Then it’s gone. Carry on. Enjoy your travels. Time unravels. Moments pass. Roll on the grass. Get off your ass. Bonds that were, Only once occur. A mark on your ruler. Laughs to treasure. When days grow cooler, This life you’ll measure. 10/25/20
