Watch it, Pal

Hold it, right there.
Times like these are rare.
You forgot to place a bet
On one man's future life regret.

They told me to step outside.
Your position here's been nullified.
Do me a favor, take a walk.
If you're still around, I'll clean your clock.

Listen, chum, I've got the goods
For cities, towns and neighborhoods.
Not just as king for a day,
From now on, things will go my way.

Hey Charlie, let's have another round.
For what goes up, will not come down,
While I'm in the driver's seat.
Let's put this program on repeat.

I can see you're not impressed,
Though I'm well groomed and neatly dressed.
So watch me while I break the bank
For just a taste of what J.D. drank.

Ok, so let those bubbles rise.
From now on, all that money buys
Won't put things back the way they were,
Before I gave this pot a stir.

Give me just a little more time.
Not to stop it on a dime,
But to realize all that I'm worth
While I dazzle on this earth.
