Dawn Treader

Helix through the window
Inspires the room to cheer.
Brings its’ warm anxiety,
Arrow against the bow.

Peel the random concepts
From off the top of mind.
Pulp and seeds fall fleshy
Fruit inside the rind.

Orange, lemon, tangerine
Distract me with their color.
Tangy tongue taxonomy
Rings my bell like Halloween.

Wherefore, Whatnot, Whosis chatter
Eggs hide under toast.
With sounds of snarly bacon spatter,
For which I love the most.

Morning busy, hungry, finds
Open, eager, excitery
Dripping wholesome through the grind,
Sticky in the bindery.

Enough to push me towards the day,
Accomplishment in steps.
Later, lunchtime high in sky
Shining on the depths.
