A woeful cat calling
A migrant bird stalling
A dusty bear mauling
A Southern man y’alling

Locked out in our footsteps,
We're raconteur rejects.
Concave then convex
Sorrowful suspects

All of our dreaming,
Apprehensively seeming.
Doting and deeming,
Emoji and memeing

Keeps us ensorcelled,
Crusty crumb morseled,
Blinded by pretty
Numbing dull ditty.

Into the ground,
I dig and dig down
To bury it deep
Till I cant hear a peep​.
